No Meeting in JUNE! Meetings will resume in September.
It’s Christmas in July at Mahaffy Camp!
The Alliance Women are collecting money to take to Mahaffey Camp for Missionary Day, Thursday, July 26. It is a wonderful time in the Grove of Mahaffey Camp for International Workers to receive blessings from all of the churches in the Western PA District. We will be collecting donations to help support them as they are home from their country of ministry. We try to collect enough money so that we can give to each of the missionaries there. Last year you blessed so many by giving almost $1000. If you would like to bless our mission workers this year, visit our table in the Narthex on June 24 or July 1, or give your donation to Lisa Barber, Ros Dixon or Susan Cramer. May you be blessed as you bless those who serve throughout the world.
Time for a Picnic!
The Alliance Women invite all ladies of the church with a heart for missions to join us for our annual July picnic at the home of Linda McCutcheon. We will meet Tuesday, July 17 at 6:30 for a fun night of fellowship, food and games. Please sign up in the office or email morganclan@gmail.com if you can attend and tell us what side dish or desert you would like to bring to share.
It’s Ladies Day at Mahaffey Camp
Each year we travel to Mahaffey Camp to hear from our international workers who are home from their country of assignment. Mahaffey Camp is the Western Pennsylvania District Camp where all of the Alliance Churches gather to fellowship, worship and hear about what God is doing around the world. This year we will leave on Thursday, July 17 in the morning to spend the day at Mahaffey. If you are interested in going, please contact Lisa Barber at barbers3@zoominternet.net.
Thank you to all those who sponsored, walked or donated their time or money to the Alliance Women’s Grove City Walks for the World Event. This year we raised a total of $2116! We praise the Lord for His provision of sponsors, 30 walkers, wonderful lunches and clear weather. The Hope House and our National Project will each receive $1,058, and the Gabon Team was blessed with $300 from the sale of the lunches. Thank You for another great year!
MOPS
MOPS SUMMER PLAYDATES
A great way to enjoy the kids with some familiar mom faces. We will be holding summer playdates at Hunter Park the 1st and 3rd Thursday’s of the month from 10 am - 12 pm. Playdates will be canceled if it rains, unless otherwise noted on MOPS FB page. Anyone is welcomed to join us! Please contact Liz Morris @ 724-967-4796 with questions.
