Radical Outreach

Why get involved in ministry outside the church?

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem (our hometown) and in all Judea and Samaria (places surrounding us) and to the ends of the earth (no explanation necessary).” Acts 1:8

Jesus commanded us to GO!  He told this to all of His disciples - He did not tell only a few of them! (see Matthew 28:16-20) Jesus was radical and so were His disciples!

There are some great verses on this subject.  You can also check out our book section for some recommendations on radical reading!  Ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes and guide you.  You might be surprised at what you find.  Who knows - you might end up becoming radical too!

Covenant House

This is a homeless shelter for women & families in New Castle.  Click here to see their website and learn more about this ministry.

Crisis Shelter

Community Food Pantry

There are volunteer opportunities to work in the food pantry and Thrifty Threads Clothing store in Grove City.  They also will take donations of food and clothing items. You can click here to go to their website for more information.
