Verse of the Day

An Indescribable God

Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these? He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name, by the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power not one is missing. Isaiah 40:26

In awe & wonder how can we respond but to worship.

Simulcast booklet!

Hey everyone!  Hope you heard God as he spoke to you through last Saturday's Simulcast.  Also my prayer is that you came away with something life changing and it was not just another 'event'.

My takeaway was that I don't want to live a life that is just 'fine'.  You know - that comfortable place where no one can come in - a safe place we don't want to leave and basically just exist.  What Beth referred to as Woman Z.

I want to be the woman who knows she is lacking.  That there is something better that God has for me. I want to be willing to step out of my comfort zone. Get some empty jars and allow the Lord to fill them with oil in abundance to overflowing!  As He pours into my cup He will also pour out if I only allow him to fill me.

I want to be willing to say yes to Him no matter what.  Because what could be better than what God has planned for us from before time began? It is in those times that we allow Him in that you SEE God and His mighty hand at work in and around you!

Wow! Imagine what that could look like!  I want to know. I want to SEE Him.
I want to live like that.

How about you? Do you long to live like that, but something is holding you back?

It's a little uncomfortable and if we're honest sometimes the thought of it can be scary. The unknown.  But even though we don't know the plan - God does.  He sees the whole picture.  So do not fear!  God never meant for you to do any of it alone.

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

When we truly believe that He is always with us no matter what, it makes it so much easier to step out in faith.

Beth has a website blog she mentioned at the end of the Simulcast.  If you haven't been there yet here is the link.  There is a booklet available to print called 'The Great Forsake and Take'.  It has many verses to help you overcome fear.  Print it out and start to read through it every day. And every time you feel fear overtaking you, pick it up and start reading again.

The only thing that will replace fear is the truth of God's Word! Begin to Walk in Faith!

I know you can do it because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world!

And then start to ask Him what he has for you

Be bold. Step out in faith.  Because he has something great just for you! Things he has planned for you from before time began.

So, that was my take away - what was yours?

We would love to know how God spoke to you.

I pray that you will not want to settle for a life that is just 'fine'.  I encourage you to seek the Lord, begin to live a new life living free of fear, walking boldly in faith.

It's what he made you for.

Live on the edge, hold his hand tightly and I promise it will be better than you can even imagine.

And you will never want to go back to 'just fine' :)

Show Your Love

How often to you take the time to tell him that you love him?

Do you hit the ground running without a thought or a word to him?  Do you even take 5 minutes to be in his presence?

My hearts desire is to do that, but life happens and I don't always make it the priority because I have other things to do.  Like this morning.

Can I just be honest here?  I'm getting ready for the Simulcast.  Things to do.  Coffee first - computer second.

Where is He in all that?

And so I remember this video clip to post today for you - to remind you that the Simulcast is tomorrow in case you still wanted to sign up.

And the verse keeps coming to you love me Peter, yes I love you...then feed my sheep.

Lately I've been thinking of the feed my sheep part. That is the way to show him your love.

BUT it occurs to me this morning that I just need to love HIM.

Take time to be with him.

Soak in his presence.

And so I am going to do that.  Spend some time with my best friend in all the universe.  The same one who created it.

Won't you just take a moment and do the same?

Hope to see you tomorrow where we can love Him together :)

Fall Jumpstart

An unofficial survey asked people their favorite season of the year: 20% said spring; 20% said winter; 24% said summer; and 36% chose fall.

Don't you just love fall? (Well at least 36% of you like it the best:) It's such a change from summer. Time to settle into familiar routines. Warm vibrant colors, wonderful smells of cinnamon, apples, pumpkin and spice.  Crisp cool days, for sweaters and jeans.  An end to a fun and playful season, but one with new promises begun. Each season special in its own way. Just as the seasons of life.

Hop on over to this website to find some free fall printables!  Start the transisition of bringing the fall inside and as you do think about the gift of beauty all around us.

Acts 14:17 says "Yet he has not left himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.”

What a good and loving God we have. Providing us with all there is no matter the season while filling our hearts with joy!

Take time today to thank him for all that is around you.  And in the midst of it see the beauty of His love - for YOU!

Happy Friday :)

He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:10-12

Oops - we had a small 'technical difficulty' on Wednesday so you may have noticed that there was no post! At least I hope you noticed and if you did then it means you might look forward to them coming!

So that brings me to a question today.

No big post.

No Fun Friday stuff.

Just you read the posts, look forward to them, are they encouraging to you?

Is there something that you would like to see changed, added, stopped?

All we would like you to do is leave a comment at the end of the post - positive or constructive.  A few words or many (and if you get this in your email inbox, just click on the daisy to get to the online blog).

If you use the website and like it the way it is - great - just tell us keep it up :)

We all like encouragement and feedback and so today we are asking for yours.

Because we want this to be a place where you can come to be encouraged as well!

Oh, and just to give you a heads up - we will be taking Labor Day off so there will not be a post on Monday!  (Just wanted you to know so you don't think we are having more 'technical difficulties' - which by the way was a glitch in my brain on Wednesday...I forgot!)

Have a great weekend we love you sisters!

Encourage someone this weekend...
